  • The pattern uses the filet crochet technique. With this technique you make open and closed meshes, creating a figure.

What do you need?

  • Yarn: I have used Scheepjes Whirlette. But you can use other yarn as well. for example Hobbii Twister Solid or Hobbii Rainbow Lace.
  • Hook: I have used hook 2,5mm. If you use other yarn, you need to pick a hook that is suitable for the yarn.
  • Hoop: My version is 70 centimeters (28 inch). How big your mandala will be depends on how loosely or tightly you crochet and what yarn you use. The pattern describes how you can calculate which ring is most suitable for your mandala.
  • Also handy: scissors, needle, stitch marker, tape measure.
