Designed especially for anyone who wants to crochet the Autumn Leaves Mandala but finds it too overwhelming or too big, or don’t have access to a big hoop. At 50 centimeres (20 inches) and 29 rounds, it is exactly half the size of the Autumn Leaves Mandala.

Materials needed

  • I used half a skein (50 grams, 227 meters) of Scheepjes Whirlette in the color Sage. You can check out yarnsub.com for similar yarn.
  • Hook: I used hook 2.5mm.
  • Hoop: choose a hoop based on how big your end result is. There are instructions in the pattern to calculate the most suitable hoop for your mandala. You can find a list of stores worldwide that sell hoops here.
  • Notions: scissors, tapestry needle, tape measure, stitch marker
