🇬🇧 Introducing something new: Tip Tuesday! From now on, every Tuesday in the coming weeks I will share a mandala crochet tip with you :)

Do you ever feel tired at the mere thought of crocheting a mandala into a hoop? You're definitely not alone! Personally, I find the least enjoyable aspect of crocheting mandalas. But you don't always have to suffer. If you have a hoop from which you like the look and don't necessarily want to cover it, you can try this method! Use jump rings to attach the mandala to the hoop.

All you need is jump rings, that are a few mm bigger than the thickness of your hoop, hobby pliers and you are good to go! I used jump rings of 10mm for this mandala, which are generally suitable for most hoops.

🇳🇱 Nieuw: Tip Tuesday! Vanaf nu zal ik de komende weken elke dinsdag een tip delen voor het haken van mandala's :)

Word jij al moe als je alleen al denkt aan het haken van een mandala in een ring? Je bent zeker niet de enige! Het is mijn minst favoriete onderdeel van mandala's haken. Als je een ring hebt die er mooi uit ziet en die je niet per se wilt bedekken, kan je deze methode gebruiken! Gebruik jump rings om de mandala aan de ring te bevestigen.

Het enige wat je nodig hebt, zijn jump rings, die een aantal mm groter zijn dan de ring, en een hobbytang. Voor deze mandala heb ik jump rings van 10mm gebruikt, deze passen bij de meeste ringen.

Als je een tutorial wilt zien over hoe je de ringetjes bevestigt, bekijk dan enkele van mijn reels die ik al over dit onderwerp heb gepost, of bekijk de video op mijn YouTube-kanaal waarin ik verschillende manieren om een mandala aan een ring te bevestigen laat zien (inclusief deze methode!).

Als je me al een tijdje volgt, kan het zijn dat je dit ontwerp van vorig jaar herkent. Ik was niet helemaal tevreden met het ontwerp, dus heb 'm aangepast. En dit is het resultaat!

🇬🇧 I had a mandala ready to attach to a wooden hoop. So it was time again to rearrange my livingroom to record this reel 🤣

Using reusable zip ties makes it easier to attach the mandala to the hoop with pieces of yarn. For a detailed video of how I attach mandalas to a wooden hoop, please visit my YouTube channel!
